Last week, I photographed a Day in the Life of the talented+gorgeous CL from 2NE1 for Billboard. (Check out the gallery on Billboard here). 2NE1 is a Korean pop sensation – if you haven’t heard them yet, check out their music videos for I Love You, Lonely, and I Am The Best. We started at her hotel, and then swung by the Jeremy Scott fashion show (he designed 2nE1′s world tour clothing). There, she met up with A$AP Rocky, Terry Richardson, Jeremy Scott, and more. After, we had lunch with her friend Jesse Jo Stark, a stop at a photobooth, back to the hotel, and some shopping. CL and her whole crew are wonderful, and it was a blast to photograph her again. Last week, I had the pleasure of photographing a Day in the Life of Swizz Beatz for Billboard. It was a really amazing day – we began at a Music Unites event at the Intrepid, which is devoted to creating and continuing music education in underfunded schools. We spent time at his recording studio, stopped by an art gallery, got dinner, and finished the day backstage at VH1′s Save the Music event at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square. Here’s a quick behind-the-scenes photo with Waka Flocka Flame, Swizz Beatz, and French Montana.

Last week, I photographed Conor Maynard for Rolling Stone. I had such a blast with him and his crew and label! You can check out the gallery on RollingStone.com here. He is such a funny, kind person and has a true love of his work, his fans, and his favorite foods! He just released an album, Contrast. We spent the day doing interviews with Fuse, Music Choice, and more, and ended the day at his sold-out show at Webster Hall.

Earlier this week, I had the pleasure of photographing Miguel for Billboard. He is so passionate about what he does, so in love with music, performing, and meeting his fans, and is such a kind person. I shot a “Day in the Life” with him, and during our day, we went to VH1, MTV, Music Choice, and headed to Brooklyn after to do an in-store signing. There were so many people lined up in the rain for hours waiting to meet him, it was really sweet. I had a blast with his whole team, and can’t wait to see what he does next. 2NE1 Photos by Diana Levine (DianaLevine.com) Photo shoot, portraits, and backstage / behind the scenes photos for Billboard, part of the New Evolution tour.

Last week, I had the pleasure of photographing K-pop sensation 2NE1 for Billboard. I shot them backstage on Friday night at their first US show, at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. I photographed them rehearsing, preparing for the show, all the way to them running on stage. Then on Monday, I had a photo shoot with them at Billboard studios, and shot lots of gorgeous portraits of the band. It’s easy to see why they are quickly taking over the world! Awesome music and amazing girls.

Day in the Life: Rascal Flatts for the Boot. Photos by Diana Levine (DianaLevine.com)

Back in February, I shot a “Day in the Life” with the Rascal Flatts for TheBoot.com. You can check out the full photo gallery and video online here. We had such a blast. I documented them during the day of their last show of their tour, ending at the Izod Center in New Jersey. But before we got to the green room at the venue, the band headed to Hillside, NJ, where they volunteered at a food bank, and filmed some promo spots for their new partnership with Feeding America and General Mills. The band is hilarious, and had everyone in the room cracking up the entire day, and it was awesome to see such a huge band taking on something like fighting hunger, and using their rockstar status to make the world a better place

Best part? Last year, I took my Mom on a surprise trip to Nashville for her birthday (she loves country music!) and we saw Rascal Flatts get inducted into the Grand Ole Opry. It’s a night I’ll never forget, it was SO much fun. Anyway, the band was sweet enough to sign the photo book I made for my Mom, of photos from the trip!

Last week, I shot a photo and video documentary with Diggy Simmons for Aol / The Boombox. You can check out the full photo gallery and the video online here. We had such a blast with Diggy — he is so sweet, kind, and talented, and really fun to spend the day with. We traveled with him during appearances on BET’s 106 and Park, radio interviews with Hot 97, and backstage before and after his big performance at the Highline ballroom, celebrating the release of his new album, Unexpected Arrival.

Yesterday, I photographed One Direction for Billboard, as a “Day in the Life” piece. You can check out the full gallery here on Billboard. The entire day was so much fun. I documented them on the day of their album release for Up All Night. I love shooting a band on the day of their album release, because it’s such a celebration, and it feels a little bit like being part of music history. There were literally thousands of screaming fans filling all 4 floors of the mall — the girls LOVE them!! And after spending the day with them, I can see why – they are such funny, kind, and sincere guys, and they truly deserve all of the success that’s happening for them.

[ Day in the Life: B.o.B for Billboard.com | Photos by Diana Levine http://www.dianalevine.com ] Yesterday, I photographed a “Day in the Life” of B.o.b for Billboard. We had a really fun day, going to Hot 97 with Angie Martinez, driving around the city, and hanging out backstage and sound-checking before his Bowery Ballroom show. Such a fun and sweet person to photograph. Some of his songs you probably know are Airplanes, Nothin’ On You (feat. Bruno Mars), Magic (feat. Rivers Cuomo) among many more.
