Thank you so much to the Work Magazine for interviewing Matt and myself for their blog. It was fun to talk not just about work, but about how our work lives intertwine, and what it’s like working together as a photographer and DP. Many thanks to Elizabeth Baudouin for asking us to be part of this!

Behind-the-scenes: Jersey Shore / Just Dance 3 MTV Promo with Snooki and Ronnie

Here are some behind-the-scenes photos I shot last month on set for the commercial for Jersey Shore / Just Dance 3, featuring Snooki and Ronnie, airing now on MTV. The spot was directed by E.J. McLeavey-Fisher, produced by Veronica Balta, and DP’d by Matt Workman. This shoot was such a fun day! Always love seeing my film buddies, and it didn’t hurt that I got to dance to the new Just Dance 3 game! If you look closely at the final commercial, which you can watch online here, that’s me dancing with some friends in the close up of the video game!
Sadly, I did not win, but I’m pretty sure that after some more practice, I could kick some butt.

Diana and Matt on My Super Sweet 16 with Justin Combs

Around 1:05pm yesterday, I was at brunch when I suddenly started receiving text messages, phone calls, and emails saying “I’m watching you on TV!!” We got home and discovered that our episode of “My Super Royal Sweet 16: Justin Combs” had started airing on MTV.
We were filming and taking photos for the intro video for P. Diddy’s son Justin’s sweet 16 party. Basically, in the episode, you’ll see a video of Justin leaving for the party, and then somewhat of a “car chase” feel until he arrives. I shot stills for the video, which flash throughout the intro, and Matt, Parris, and I operated 5DMarkII’s for the video. The piece was directed by the wonderful Parris for Goreela (who you’ll see lots of in this episode!), and produced by Nigel Talley. It was such a fun night, shooting through the highways and then the streets of NYC. Parris was filming from up in a helicopter, and I can’t even imagine how cold it was! The footage you’ll see of us is when we’re at Diddy’s house, planning for how the night is going to go.
The funniest thing is that we don’t have cable, so couldn’t see it, despite everyone texting/calling us. So, my Mom had a genius idea – she put Skype on the couch in her living room, and we watched it via Skype
