Last year I shot the album cover and interior art for Boston hip hop artist Esoteric. This is for his new album, Saving Seamus Ryan, and shot in Newton, Massachusetts. The funniest part of the shoot was putting peanut butter on Seamus’ face, to keep his dog, Logan, near his head. We’ve been working with Seamus/Esoteric for a really long time. In fact, one of Matt’s first music videos in Boston featured Esoteric alongside Mike Stylz. I’m really happy with how the album art came out. My favorite part is the inside, which reads like a book and has some of my favorite photos from the shoot. Esoteric is another example of someone really talented, and equally wonderful as a person.
