Editorial Mini Sessions | 2025

Each week, I choose a different backdrop & lighting style that I’ve used to photograph magazine covers and features, and set up a “Mini Session” day at the studio, so that anyone can join for quick and easy 15 minute sessions for magazine-style portraits!

How does it work?

Drop me an email to sign up for my mailing list. Each month, I send out an email with my list of dates for my upcoming Mini Sessions, including which color backdrop & lighting style I’ll be using for each day. Then, you can sign up by email for a 15 minute session on the day that has the backdrop you’d like to use!

Within 7 days of your Mini Session, you’ll receive a watermarked gallery of all the photos from your session. You’ll choose your favorite photos, and then I’ll do my final retouching for your selected images. I use the same touching techniques I use when photographing magazine covers and features. Pricing

Each Mini Session is 15 minutes long, and the sitting fee is $100. Photos are ordered separately (in addition to the sitting fee). $75/each, 10 for $225 or 20 for $400. Pricing is for January & February 2025 only, and may change after that time period.

Who are Editorial Mini Sessions for?

Editorial Mini Sessions are for anyone who wants a magazine-style portrait! They are great for anyone looking for branding portraits, marketing photos for their personal brand, and professionals of all kinds, including business owners, fitness instructors, stylists, entrepreneurs, realtors, attorneys, medical professionals, creatives, consultants, speakers, models, actors, and more. But, you don’t need a “reason” to join for a Mini Session—anyone can join for a beautiful editorial style portrait!

Do the Mini Sessions come with hair and make up?

No, the Editorial Mini Sessions do not come with hair and make up. However, if you email me in advance, I can suggest several local hair and make up artists that I refer clients to regularly, including stylists who will come to your home for your hair and make up before the photo shoot.

Are the photos digital or prints?

The final photos that will be delivered to you are high-resolution digital images. I don’t do any printing.

Where is the studio?

I work with several studio locations in the Greater Boston area. When you sign up for your Mini Session, I will tell you the location for the dates you’re interested in. I regularly have clients join from Needham, Newton, Wellesley, Brookline, Waltham, Dover, Natick, Wayland, Sudbury, Cambridge, Arlington, Somerville, Wakefield, Reading, Cohasset, Hingham, Hopkinton, Holliston, South Boston, West Roxbury, and more.
